File & URL References

The auditor can add files and URL links to an audit finding as supporting information.

Each file and URL listed be marked as reviewed and can have its own series of notes.

All supporting documents linked by the auditee in AuditAlert Web are displayed in this form. The document is a “point-in-time” copy of the auditee’s document in AuditAlert, which allows the audit staff to cross-reference within and leave notes using the application's functionality without the auditee being aware. The files are opened in the native application (i.e., Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.) providing full functionality of the applicable software.

The audit staff can also use this form to add files to document their follow-up work performed on an Audit Point, which cannot be viewed by the auditee in AuditAlert Web.

Clicking on the   opens the supporting document or URL.
