The examination (176) is referenced as well as the ID# and the title
of the Questionnaire (Currency
Flows and Reporting of Large Cash Transactions).
The question number (2), the question (Does
the institution review...),
the status of the question (In-Process),
the response (Yes), the comments
(The bank's audit department...) and the
attachments (Review
the cash totals shipped for the 3rd quarter...) is also
displayed.
The Response drop-down
list is displayed. The auditee then selects
the appropriate response.
If
warranted, the Comments section is updated
by the auditee.
The auditee has the option to
the
current information but not yet
.
Once the Response and Comments,
if any, are saved and there are no more changes then the
button
is selected. If the Response and Comments sections
are saved without marking the question completed, AuditAlert assumes
the auditee still has changes to the comments or may want to add a supporting
document.
The auditee can
also attach supporting documents and websites (URLs) to support his or her response.
This section is saved separately from the Response and Comments section
described above. For the above question there is a supporting
Excel spreadsheet documenting the review process described in the comments section
of the response (screenshot is continued on the next page of this User Guide).
This is a “point-in-time copy” of the original
document.
Once the auditee copies the supporting document to the temporary folder
"AuditAlert Q Temporary Library" on the network drive "d" and it is
"saved," it is automatically moved to the permanent drive accessible
only by the audit staff. The description of the file, the file name
and the file extension are displayed to the auditee for the information
purposes only.
Upon saving the above response, comment and attachments, the AuditAlert
Web Questionnaire list will now look as follows:
Question #1 has not yet been responded to.
Question #2 has not been marked as completed
as indicated by the “Released” status, but the
response, comment and the supporting document are listed in
the rightmost column.
The
status of the question; in this example “released.”
The
question is displayed
The
response from the drop-down list is displayed.
The
comment or supplement to the response is displayed
The “point-in-time” supporting
document is displayed.
